i call up thinking when they released the video: this shortened version (the original single was similar almost 4:30 i believe) sounds and so lifeless. the mix is glossier, but all you lot can hear is the snare drum which is odd for a chromatics song. the original had then much momentum because everything going on in the track felt like it was fighting its manner to the pinnacle of the mix. i as well preferred the extended bridge and outro. who knows what it sounds similar at present though, can't tell if this is "re-recorded" or merely a different mix and edit. maybe information technology will come out someday!

I actually like this version, but information technology bothers me that they cut out almost one-half of the song from the outset version (which I think was even over five minutes). As well a bit afraid that they removed the lyrics from the chorus, as Ruth doesn't sing them anymore in the alive version.
